School of the Circuit Rider
Vision
Through much prayer and seeking God we have decided not to run the Kona Circuit Rider school this summer. We felt the Lord encouraging us towards serving other bases and locations and ministries with this school for 2012. Kona will serve a vital role in the future of CR as we will for sure host future schools and leadership training as the CR continues to grow and develop. Stay in touch through our main site at www.thecircuitrider.com for up to date information on the upcoming schools. We encourage you to pray about one of the five other amazing locations that we will run the School of the Circuit Rider in the summer of 2012.
The point of no return is upon us… WHO WILL GO?
* This school is open to everyone, not just those that have done a DTS with YWAM
“No family was too poor, no house too filthy, no town too remote, and no people too ignorant to receive the good news that life could be better.”
A generation is responding like perhaps never before in history. Confident in who Christ has called them to be and what He has given them, they go forth proclaiming freedom to the captives. Knowing the living God through deep friendship and trust in His Word, they gladly lay down their lives. There is immense hope for the hardest and the darkest, as this generation rises to its feet and lays hold of its destiny!
School of the Circuit Riders:
This school will entail 2-weeks of training at the University of the Nations in Kona, Hawaii. This school is open to all, not just to those that have done a Discipleship Training School (DTS) with YWAM.
As part of the outcomes of this school, we believe:
- Students will be able to boldly and clearly teach and preach the gospel.
- Students will understand their authority to pray for healing and walk naturally in the supernatural.
- Students will gain a foundation in the Word of God and in Christ to lead themselves and others into greater levels of faith, bold courage, radical initiative, surrender to the Holy Spirit, and an un-offended heart.
- Students will learn the basic tenets of discipleship, to invest themselves in others who will invest in others.
- Each student will learn to live out a lifestyle of worship, prayer and fasting as a means of deep intimacy and anointed commissioning.
- A culture of the kingdom will be taught and imparted that will bring heaven to earth wherever it is lived out
Outreach Circuit
The Outreach (Circuit):
There will be short organized outreaches following this 2-week school. We invite each student to participate in this optional outreach before returning to their university, home church, work place, or YWAM base to teach and live out what they received. Following the completion of outreach those who desire further training can do a DTS with YWAM or if a DTS has already been completed, a leadership development track is offered at the University of the Nations in Kona, HI.
